Why I Started In Good Order

In 2021, my father suddenly and unexpectedly died in his sleep. My brother and I had to become detectives literally overnight, searching for clues in files and paperwork to start unwinding the day-to-day of his life. The experience was overwhelming and confusing at a time when we just wanted to focus on honoring and remembering him. 

This event triggered me to look at my own level of preparation. If something happened to us, our adult children wouldn’t have a clue where to start. It was then that I created the first In Good Order Life & Legacy Binder as a playbook for our kids. And I felt instant peace of mind. 

In Good Order strives to replace confusion with clarity, and gives families the confidence to carry out wishes and honorably close out a life well lived.
